Before choosing a dog, it is important to make sure you are getting a breed of dog that will be appropriate for your lifestyle and housing. Before doing our research we thought we wanted a Frenchy or maybe a Weimaraner. After learning about those breeds and several others, we found the Basset Hound to be a better fit for us.
